  • 2 cup(s) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 1 tablespoon(s) chocolate squares
  • 1 tablespoon(s) cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon(s) glucose
  • 2 tablespoon(s) heavy cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup(s) butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla essence

Bev's Chocolate Fudge Directions

  1. Combine granulated sugar and milk in a large pot and mix well.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients except the vanilla essence.
  3. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly heating to a temperature of about 120 degrees C or 250 degrees F.
  4. Add vanilla essence, then remove from the heat.
  5. Beat the mixture until thick and creamy.
  6. Pour the mixture in a greased baking tray (18cm x 24cm) and allow to cool.
  7. When nearly set, mark into squares with a sharp knife (used in a sawing motion).
  8. Cool completely then serve.
