Grace Cream of Gungo Peas Soup

  • 1 tbsp Grace Vegetable Oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can Grace Gungo Peas
  • 2 cups Grace Coconut milk
  • 1 scotch bonnet minced
  • 2 stalk scallion sliced
  • 1 sachet Grace All Purpose Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Grace Cream of Gungo Peas Soup Directions

  1. Heat oil in a medium sized pot
  2. Sauté onions garlic scallion and Grace Gungo Peas
  3. Add Grace Coconut Milk and let simmer until peas soften
  4. Remove from heat and blend on high until smooth
  5. Place back on heat and let simmer
  6. Add scotch bonnet pepper, salt, and Grace All Purpose Seasoning
  7. Let simmer an additional 10 minutes
  8. Add water if too thick and serve immediately
