In a sauce pot add 1 pint of water and salt to taste. Allow water to come to a boil.
Add the potato to the boiling water, cover the pot and allow them to cook until fork tender. Drain, remove and set aside.
In a sauce pot add oil and heat over medium flame; add onion, garlic and hot pepper. Saute for 2 minutes then add tomato and sweet pepper, continue to cook for another 2 minutes.
Add corned beef, potato, water, ketchup, salt and black pepper, stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
