  • 1 packet(s) Lasagne Noodles
  • 1/4 cup(s) Grace Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Margarine
  • 4 ounce(s) all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) whole milk
  • 1/4 cup(s) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon(s) basil leaves
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can(s) Grace Mixed Vegetables, drained
  • 1 can(s) Grace Corned Beef, flaked
  • 1 1/2 pound(s) cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup(s) parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon(s) paprika

Grace Corned Beef and Mixed Vegetable Lasagne Directions

  1. Cook Lasagne Noodles according to instructions on the package, brush with Grace Vegetable Oil and put aside.

    To Make Bechamel Sauce:
  2. In a sauce pan, melt Grace Hello Margarine, adding flour and stir until it becomes a roux, gradually add milk and whisk until smooth, and it is able to coat the back of a spoon.
  3. In a frying pan heat 1/2 the olive oil, saute basil, garlic and onion.
  4. Add Grace Mixed Vegetables and continue to saute, pour mixture in a bowl, and set aside.
  5. In the same frying pan, add remaining olive oil and heat. Add basil, garlic, onion and saute.
  6. Add Grace Corned Beef and flake with a spoon and saute.
  7. Remove from pot and set aside.
  8. Use Grace Hello Margarine to grease the casserole.

    To Assemble:
  9. Spread 2 tablespoons of Bechamel Sauce in the bottom of the casserole and layer on lasagne noodles. Add a layer of Grace Corned Beef mixture, then add both cheese.
  10. Add another layer of lasagne, then sauce, Grace Corned Beef Mixture, cheese, repeat the process until finish, top with cheese and sprinkle on paprika.
  11. Place in a pre-heated oven and bake at 180°C/350°F for 1/2 an hour.
  12. Remove from oven, cut and serve.

    Method Note: Roux- a mixture of equal butter and flour cooked until bubbly, used in a sauce or a soup.
