  • 1 whole spice bun, 16 oz.
  • 1 cup(s) Grace Coconut Milk
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla essence
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup(s) sugar
  • 2 medium eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Anchor Butter
  • 1/2 cup(s) Grace Guava or Strawberry Jam

Spicy Bun and Butter Pudding Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.  Cut the bun into thin slices and butter each slice.
  2. Grease a loaf pan and layer slices of bun in it.  In a bowl, mix the coconut milk, vanilla, nutmeg, sugar and eggs together and mix well.
  3. Pour this mixture over the bun and stand for 1/2 an hour.  Bake for about 45 minutes.

    To Serve:  Top with jam and serve at room temperature.
