Pour water into a sauce pan; add cho-cho, grapes; raisins; orange rind and honey and boil until liquid is reduced to a syrupy consistency. Allow to cool.
Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
Combine vanilla essence, Grace Apple Juice, Grace Vegetable Oil and Grace Browning and mix well.
Puree cooked fruits in a blender and add to the liquid; stir well.
Add liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and fold well.
Scrape batter in a greased 12" baking pan and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C/350°F for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
After removing cake, sprinkle on sesame seeds if required.
Yield: 12-16 slices
Note:
Green papaya or white inner sections of a melon can be substituted for the chocho.
1 cup dark sugar can be used to replace honey.
