  • 1 whole chicken, cleaned and cut into 8 pieces
  • 1/2 cup(s) Grace Vinegar
  • 4 cup(s) water
  • 2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon(s) thyme, chopped
  • 1 large onion, grated
  • 1 tablespoon(s) ginger, grated
  • Ingredients for Passion of Glory Sauce:
  • 1 cup(s) passion juice
  • 1/2 cup(s) honey
  • 1/4 cup(s) mustard
  • 1 cup(s) Grace Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Grace Fish and Meat Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons water

Oven Roasted Honey Mustard Chicken in Passion of Glory Directions

  1. Wash chicken in a solution of Grace Vinegar and water.
  2. Season with salt, soy sauce, thyme, onion and ginger; combine well.  Cover and leave to marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Place chicken on a baking tray (skin side up) and bake at 180°C/350°F for 1 hour.
  4. Remove chicken from oven during baking and base with sauce.
  5. Return to the oven until completely baked.

    TO MAKE PASSION OF GLORY SAUCE
  6.  Pour 1 1/2 cups Passion Juice in a sauce pan.
  7. Add the honey, mustard and Grace Tomato Ketchup and bring to a boil.  Mix in the Grace Fish & Meat Sauce.
  8. Dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water and add to the mixture, stirring well to avoid lumping.
  9. Allow to cook until the sauce thickens.
