  • 1 quart(s) water
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 3 ounce(s) carrots
  • 3 ounce(s) string beans
  • 1/2 ounce(s) Anchor Butter, Unsalted
  • 1/2 floz Grace Vegetable Oil
  • 1 ounce(s) onions, julienne
  • 1 teaspoon(s) parsley, fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper

Saute Carrots and String Beans Directions

  1. In a sauce pot add water and salt, allow to come to a boil.
  2. Add carrots, blanch, refresh and set aside.  Add string beans, blanch, refresh and set aside.
  3. In a saute pan, add butter and oil, heat over a medium flame.  Add onions and saute for 1 minute.
  4. Add carrots and string beans, saute for 2 minutes.  Add parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Method Note:      Julienneto cut into thin strips.
