1 10.ozs packet Grace Fresh N Ready Chopped Callaloo
1 1/2 tbsps. Grace Prima Margarine
1 1/2 tbsps. All-purpose flour
2 cups Grace Coconut Milk
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 stalk scallion
2 tbsps. Chopped celery
1 sprig(s) thyme
1/4 tsp chopped ginger
1 pinch Pepper to taste
Cream of Callaloo Soup Directions
In a medium saucepan, combine water, Grace Cock Soup and Grace Fresh n Ready Callaloo, bring to a boil and cook until callaloo is tender. Set aside to cool.
Melt Grace Prima Margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat, stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes
Gradually whisk in Grace Coconut Milk and let simmer.
In food processor or blender puree the Callaloo and Cock Soup mixture and add puree to pot.
Add scallion, celery, thyme, ginger and pepper. Season to taste and serve hot.

Other vegetables or pulses, such as red peas and pumpkin, can be used instead of Callaloo
