Cut bread slices into thick strips.
In a mixing bowl combine milk, egg, sugar and cinnamon powder then beat with a whisk for one minute.
In a second bowl crush corn flakes.
Dip the bread strips into the egg mixture then roll into cornflake crumbs.
Heat Grace Vegetable Oil and fry strips until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
TO SERVE: Serve with pancake or waffle syrup.
