  • 1 tablespoon(s) Grace Vegetable Oil
  • 10 ounce(s) Grace Chicken Frankfurters, sliced in rounds
  • 1 tablespoon(s) cajun seasoning
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small green sweet pepper, diced
  • 3 clove(s) garlic, minced
  • 1 can(s) tomatoes, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) Grace Caribbean Traditions Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) Grace Hot Pepper Sauce
  • 1 pound(s) Grace Long Grain White Rice
  • 2 packet(s) Grace One Pot Seasoning All Purpose Flavour
  • 4 cup(s) water

Grace Chicken Franks Jambalaya Directions

  1. Heat 1 Tablespoon of Grace Vegetable Oil in a large heavy Dutch pot over medium heat.
  2. Season the Grace Chicken Frankfurters with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Saute frankfurters until browned.
  4. Remove with slotted spoon and set aside.
  5. In the same pot, saute onion, sweet pepper and garlic until tender.
  6. Stir in crushed tomatoes and season with red pepper flakes, Grace Caribbean Traditions Black Pepper, salt and Grace Hot Pepper Sauce.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Stir in the Grace Rice and Grace One Pot Seasoning - All Purpose Flavour and water.
  9. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer for 20-25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender and fluffy.

    To Serve: Serve with favourite vegetable salad.
