Barbecue Tofu


For 3 people ()

  • 1/2 pound(s) Tofu
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
  • 1 cup(s) flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) paprika
  • 1/4 cup(s) Grace Vegetable Oil
  • To Make Barbecue Sauce:
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Grace Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tablespoon(s) onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sweet pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup(s) Grace Tomato Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup(s) Grace Fish and Meat Sauce
  • 1/4 cup(s) honey

Barbecue Tofu Directions

Slice tofu in four pieces and season with onion, garlic, salt and black pepper.

Combine flour, salt and paprika to make seasoned flour.

Dip slices of tofu in seasoned flour and coat well.

Heat Grace Vegetable Oil and fry the floured tofu for two minutes on both sides, then drain on paper towel.

Pour sauce over fried tofu and place in a pre-heated oven at (180°C) 350°F for 10 minutes.

To Make Barbecue Sauce:

Heat Grace Vegetable Oil, saute onion and sweet pepper.

Add Grace Tomato Ketchup, Grace Fish and Meat Sauce and honey, mix well.
