Easy Rice Cornbread


For 6 people ()

  • 2 cup(s) Grace Rice
  • 1 cup(s) flour
  • 1 cup(s) Grace Cornmeal
  • 4 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon(s) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1/4 cup(s) Grace Vegetable Oil
  • 1/3 cup(s) raisins (optional)

Easy Rice Cornbread Directions

Cook rice and allow to cool.

Combine flour, Grace Cornmeal, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Add milk, eggs, vegetable oil and mix well.  Stir in rice and raisins.

Scrape into a loaf pan, then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F for 45 minutes or until done in the center, and golden brown on top.

To Serve: Turn onto a bread board and serve immediately.
