Grace One Pot Mackerel Seasoned Rice


For 4 people ()

  • 1 tablespoon(s) Grace Margarine
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 2 stalk(s) escallion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon(s) scotch bonnet pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 sprig(s) thyme
  • 3 cup(s) water, boiled
  • 1 packet(s) Grace One Pot Seasoning, Cock Flavour
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 pound(s) Grace Long Grain White Rice
  • 2 can(s) Grace Jack Mackerel, drained and flaked (7 oz cans)
  • 1/4 cup(s) sweet pepper, chopped

Grace One Pot Mackerel Seasoned Rice Directions

Melt Grace Hello Margarine in a 3 litre pot and use to saute chopped onion, garlic, escallion, scotch bonnet pepper, tomato and thyme.

Pour in the boiling water and add the Grace One Pot Cock Flavour Seasoning and salt then stir.  Add the Grace White Rice, mix well and lower flame.  Cook until grains are tender.

Add Grace Jack Mackerel to rice, toss in and allow to heat through for another five minutes.

Add sweet pepper, stir, cover and leave for a further 3 minutes.  Serve hot.
